CANCELLED DUE TO THE CANCELLATION OF THE MASKED PARADE THIS YEAR
THE MASKED ARTIST 2 DAY HOLIDAY PROGRAM
Tutor: Larisse Hall
7-12 year olds
1 – 2 October 2020,
Thursday – Friday 9am - 3pm,
Arrive as you and leave as your imagination and creativity takes you.
Working in with the theme of this year's Masked Parade ( was Friday 16th October), students are encouraged to create 'THE Mask!'
To the theme of WHAT IF...?
What if we had 20/20 vision into the future, where rainbows were rockets, trees could walk, and humans had wings?
Let your imaginations go wild with the tantalising question – What if?
Students will fully immerse in creating for the two days. Exploring the theme of 'what if...' and all that encompasses. Students will animate and bring to life their unique and individual mask. Starting with imaginative brain storming to develop possible 'identities' students will be sketching, assembling recycled / found objects (welcome to bring their own) and paper macheing to create their own 2-D / 3-D masked identity.
'I wish this was a school and I could go to it all the time!'
