Suitable for the absolute beginner, the home sewer or industry professional, this relaxed class teaches you basic pattern drafting and easy fit techniques to create clothes you love!
In this class students will learn:
a. How to draft basic pattern blocks
b. How to make clothes fit properly
c. Easy sew techniques simplified to speed up sewing times
d. Easy cutting techniques
e. How to draft personalised styles using basic block patterns
f. How to eliminate pins for speedier and easier sewing results.
g. What fabrics to use for various styles
h. Plus a pile of random helpful hints and tips
i. Although tailoring techniques are taught - all forms of clothing styles eg. sweat pants and tops are included.
j. Slow fashion and planet care encouraged eg. Using vintage fabrics, table cloths or fabric from a stash encouraged
k. Classes are individualised to the student with numbers capped.
These classes will give you the skills required to make easy to use patterns to sew styles that you have designed, love and fit you.
